Featuring world renowned models including Jessica Gomes, Nicole Trunfio, Samantha Harris and Jess Hart, Calendar Girls 2018 shows how Australian beauty, creative talent and the power of collaboration can help create change.
Photographed by Bartolomeo Celestino across Australia, the UK and USA, twelve women had their portraits taken in 100% Australian Merino wool garments and blankets from Australian brands Jac+Jac, Pony Rider and Double Rainbouu. The project was sponsored by The Woolmark Company and AMP Capital, and all of the sale profits will be donated to the National Heart Foundation.
The idea of Calendar Girls was originally conceived by Amy Finlayson and Richard Nicoll before his untimely passing. “Inspired by the memory of a good friend, a heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the making of this calendar, particularly the women we photographed who gave their time for this great cause, the National Heart Foundation,” said Amy Finlayson.
“Funds raised from the calendar will assist the Heart Foundation in its quest to deliver an Australia free of heart disease,” said Kerry Doyle, Heart Foundation’s NSW Chief Executive.
